Cargo Crime Investigations

Since the creation of MRC, our guiding philosophy has been to build bridges between the insurance and logistics industries and unite them with law enforcement. All of these groups have similar interests, but their methods, approaches and eventual goals may differ, making communication among them challenging. Given the limited resources available to combat the huge problem of cargo crime it is essential that all of the resources work together in an effort to proactively fight cargo crime. MRC is the conduit to foster this essential communication.

MRC conducts cargo investigations throughout the World and provides the following services to our clients:

Investigation into the theft, diversion or unexplained loss of cargo in
     storage or transit.

Investigation into the theft or unexplained loss of heavy equipment.

Investigation into possible fraud or other duplicitous acts involving
     claims against MRC clients.

Database Information Development - Through our Proprietary Database
system, MRC collects detailed information from our nearly 2000 cases and
assembles it into a powerful data center that can provide
information-specific reports to our clients or law enforcement.

The information in this database has been requested by Federal
Agencies in developing regional cargo task forces specific to current
           patterns identified by our database.

Database Research and Investigation - MRC has access to over a dozen
national comprehensive and business reporting database services that
identifies, compresses and reports widely scattered public information
     on individuals and corporations.

Thousand Eyes® Against Cargo Crime - MRC has a program utilizing
approximately 24,000 electronic addresses used to provide nearly instant
information to law enforcement, truck stops and truck towing companies
     regarding stolen cargo and equipment.

MRC Investigations provides a fast, comprehensive and hard hitting response to cargo crime by putting investigators and information on the street, both nationally and globally, to help locate missing cargo and equipment and prevent potential losses.
